One Horse Press is an independent publishing company featuring the work of author Stephanie Wincik.

Stephanie Wincik is a registered nurse and

freelance writer living in Pennsylvania. A

longtime interest in Civil War history led to the

creation of her first novel, Northern Lights, a time travel adventure set in 19th century Virginia.

Stephanie also collects local ghost stories and legends which are compiled in Ghosts of Erie County and More Ghosts of Erie County.

A fourth collection, Heroes in Disguise, highlights the extraordinary lives of twelve individuals from Stephanie's hometown of Girard, Pennsylvania.

Stephanie's latest novel, The Journey: A Northern Lights Adventure, is a follow-up to Northern Lights and is was recently released in November 2007.
